"At VGL, we believe in the power of mentorship from extraordinary leaders like former White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough. Denis is an American Leader and someone who has made some of the toughest and most challenging decisions to keep our country safe and prosperous. We are truly honored and humbled to have his time, guidance and genuine support of our organization." - Jayson W. Browder, Founder and Chairman of Veterans in Global Leadership.

"The VGL experience has been personally and professionally enhancing.  I’m impressed with the aspiring leaders in my cohort and have cultivated great friendships since becoming a Fellow.  Additionally, access to senior leaders such as former White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough confirm that great leaders always make time to mentor and develop the next generation. The event was atypical from many I’ve attended with senior National Security leaders - he was authentic, answered our questions with thoughtful insights, and truly connected to the Fellows with humor and humility. I appreciate these opportunities to grow as a leader and look forward to continued excellence from VGL’s programs.” - Lyla Kohistany, 2017 VGL Fellow and Co-Founder at PROMOTE Leadership
